“For the master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house. They may allow us to temporarily beat him at his own game, but they will never enable us to bring about genuine change.”

On The Horizon:
Leadership as a L.O.V.E. Practice Learning Lab
A Learning & Community Experience for Black Founders, Leaders, Entrepreneurs and Change Makers
I’m curating a space this fall for Black leaders—those leading within institutions and those building as founders/entrepreneurs—who are ready to reimagine how we lead and build culture.
The Leadership as a L.O.V.E. Practice Lab will be an intimate, healing-centered gathering in Baltimore, MD rooted in reflection, alignment, and affirmation.
Together, we’ll explore the tensions of leadership (growth vs. alignment, care vs. control, urgency vs. integrity) and close with a Leadership Affirmation Cypher inspired by the Lineage & Legacy Recording Experience.
If this resonates, I’d love for you to be part of it. Join the interest list below.
...without a sound emotional foundation material privilege easily corrupts. Gaining access to material privilege will never satisfy needs of the spirit...Needs of the spirit can only be satisfied when we care for the soul. Our ancestors knew this.
Only a politics of conversion where we return to love can save us.”
